Educational Ambassadors Program: http://www.theisn.org/isn-information/educational-ambassadors-program
This is to remind you of the application deadlines for the ISN GO Educational Ambassadors Program on May 1st and October 1st.
As you know this ISN funded initiative aims at advancing nephrology in the developing world through very concrete hands-on training programs. Centers in the emerging world can request a teacher or an expert to join them onsite to provide very specific training.
In this context we are pleased to announce the introduction of the Matching Initiative for the upcoming applications session.
The Matching Initiative is addressed to centers in developing countries and gives them the opportunity to find, through the ISN Headquarters, an appropriate ISN ambassador for a specific training need in the field of renal medicine before applying for funding to organize a visit.
If you wish to apply to the Educational Ambassadors, but do not know a trainer, we would invite you to:
- take a look at the list of ISN ambassadors who are available
- complete the form to request an ambassador
- send it to the ISN Headquarters
There is not a specific deadline to submit the request form. However, it is recommended that you send your request to ISN well in advance of the Educational Ambassadors Program deadline of May 1st and October 1st.
This is to ensure sufficient time for ISN to provide candidates with adequate assistance in finding an available expert and preparing them for the EAP application.
We encourage all interested centers to take advantage of the opportunity to get in touch with an ISN ambassador and to make plans for training in the context of the ISN GO Educational Ambassadors Program.
As a reminder, the deadline for emerging centers to submit a completed application to receive funding for an EAP visit is May 1st and October 1st each year!

We look forward to hearing from you.
